Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow in Pink Gold Review

Hiya!

To begin with I'm sorry about how dirty the pot is haha! Anyway other than that I am so very in love with this product. It's a really creamy eyeshadow that I use alone or as a base. It's a really pale pink with a slight sheen, it's really girl and delicate which is why I love it so much. The formula doesn't crease one bit and stays all day! I use this completely alone some days or I also use eyeliner, it just goes well with so much. Not only that but the packaging is very cute yet convenient. It's sturdy with a glass base so you can see the product, however it has a screw n lid too so no spillage or mess. I cannot rave about this product enough and I really want to get more colours. This is in Pink Gold and is subtle enough for everyday and probably even school.

Thanks,

Rimmel Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch in Radiant Rose Review

Hi! So I found this in my nearest poundland and I just had to try it out, I love the Brand Rimmel and their Wake Me Up range so why not give this a whizz. This is a really subtle summery colour that illuminates your face, as I'm sure the Wake Me Up range is supposed to. It has a super creamy and light formula which blends so easily and effortlessly. The packaging is quite straight forward but handy, it has a screw on cap so no leakages and has a squeezy tube so you can get even the last drop out. I am happy with this however I don't tend to reach for it too much as it can spoil my foundation a little. I don't think I would re purchase it right not but when summer comes along I have a feeling I may change my mind as it will suit my make up routine a lot better then.

Valentines Day Smoky Eye

Valentines day is all about who you love right? When we say love with think of love hearts and the colour pink, so pink is the colour of today.

I started by applying Maybelline Color 24hr Tattoo in Pink Gold (£4.99) to the my eyelid as a base. I then grabbed my MUA palette in Undressed (£4) and put shade 2 on the centre of my eyelid to add dimension and shade 1 in the inner corner to highlight.  I then grabbed my Calvin Klein Tempting Glimmer Sheer Creme Eyeshadow in Sage Shimmer (poundland) and applied it to the outer V of my eyelid and down under my lower lash line a little. I blended all of these together to get a subtle edge, you can always add more product if you want a darker smoky eye.

I used the Bourjois Liner Feautre Eyeliner (£6.99) in black and took it a little above my upper lash line, I then took it out and created a small wing to elongate my eyes. I used my Maybelline Volume Express Colossal (£7.19) to create volume to my eyelashes but I decided I wanted more length too. So I used my fake eyelashes from eBay (£1.19) and applied them using Revlon Dark Lash Adhesive  (£5.19) which did the trick. I actually did my eyebrows first but I used an MUA Matte Eyeshadow in Shade 19 (£1) .

I really like how this look came out and it's super girly. This would be something I would wear out on a daily basis or to a glamorous evening, so it's a win win situation.

Have a great valentines day,
love,

Go & Glow Highlighter Review

Hi! Here I have a cream highlighter from the Look beauty range, I picked this up as I want to try out some new highlight products and it was half price (£5), so I couldn't resist. It's a product where a lot goes a long way, so I'm sure this product will last me a long time. However this does mean be careful or you could end up looking way too shiny!

It looks great on your cheekbones, temples, inner eye corner, under your brows or cupid bow. I use it to brighten up my face as I can look very dull in winter, so this will be a good all year round product. The packaging is good, very slim and a screw on lid so no leakage. The actual design is a bit basic but hey, when is minimalism not in right? I am very happy with this product and I might even re-purchase.

Thank you,

Piercings & Tattoos, Part 1

I've been asked a lot (mostly on Instagram) about my new nose piercing and if I have any other piercing/tattoos. So I thought I would do a post and if I ever do add to my collection I could share it with you guys.

To start with I'm 17, so unfortunately I'm still to young to get any tattoo's, but I will definitely be getting one (or more) when I turn 18. The piercings I already have are my first and second lobes (both sides) and my helix (on my left). I also have my navel and now my nose. Piercings are pretty easy to look after they just take patience. You just have to use a mixture of boiled water and rock salt applied to the area twice a day, or/and do salt soaks.

The worst experience and pain I have endured is when I first had my nose piercing done (since that I've had it re-pierced). I went to someone other than my usual piercer as I was kind of desperate to get it done last summer. The piercer ended up piercing my nose with a needle three time and then finally with a gun, she blamed this on not being able to pull the jewellery through because my nostril was too small. This was the worst experience ever, a whole lot of blood and tears. I did get a full refund, but because of all the fuss on the piercing in the first place it didn't heal properly and became infected so I removed it. The best experience were my lobes. They are so easy and I was only six but I remember the pain being minor.

Thank you,
Poppy x
